Department of Information Science hosts its 4th Annual Children's Conference and Story telling

The 4th Annual International Children's Conference and Story Telling 2012 was held by Information Science Department at Unisa Sunnyside Campus between 11th-12th September. The highlights this year were also seen when this Department and Royal Bafokeng joined hands on 13th -14th September 2012. This conference was graced by speakers and delegates from international, regional and national standing and also by children of local schools. Interesting papers were read, stories from far and near told by both children and adult story tellers kept the audience awake and amused. The Department also donated books Oost Eind primary school and Home of Hope as part of appreciating the community. Unisa Radio captured the proceedings of this event which was opened by the Executive Dean, Prof R Moeketsi.  There was also time for relaxation and wine tasting.
